Outside the office
Outside the courtroom, David enjoys spending time with his family, including visits to his children who attend (or soon will attend) LSU-rivals UGA, Arkansas and Alabama. When not traveling you will find David on the soccer field where he serves as a USSF-certified referee and trainer, an LHSAA-certified high school referee and a NISOA-certified college referee. The soccer fields provide the perfect opportunity for David to practice the art of negotiation and persuasion with parents who seem to really want to know the laws of the game and energetically ask David questions from across the field. If only the Courts would allow whistles when you were about to make a great point of law and issue a ruling!
