Marty has been married to her husband, Chad for over 20 years and they have two teenage sons and an Aussie Doodle. In her free time, she enjoys escape rooms, solving brain teasers and listening to murder mystery podcasts. Her goals include surviving a home full of testosterone and traveling to every country in Europe.

Marty D. Trosclair, a native of Baton Rouge, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University and her J.D. from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1998. For many years, she practiced in the Greater New Orleans region in the defense of claims of medical malpractice, hotel/innkeeper liability, governmental liability and general insurance liability.
Her litigation practice provided great experience in mediations, jury trials and appellate practice at both the Louisiana Supreme Court and U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She had the pleasure of presenting at Louisiana Defense Counsel Conferences on topics of tort reform in the area of medical malpractice in Louisiana.
She has also worked as in house counsel and Chief Operating Officer for two addiction treatment centers providing guidance on legal issues affecting medical facilities and managing overall operations. She most recently practiced in the area of real estate and title closings while providing ancillary services in estate planning and successions. Her varied background and experience provides her with a unique perspective in advising clients.
